For a peaceful ,quiet summer holiday come and visit us in PODACA. A small coastal town located on the southern part of the Makarska Riviera, beneath Biokove and any 35km away from Makarska. a place where you can completly relax and get away from the everyday stresses and city life. You have the feeling that everything is close-by including all necessary services, for example post offive, local shop, restaurant etc. and the Old Town. The only thing that can distrupt your peacefulness is he sound of singing birds, a roaster or some goats and in the air you can smell the herbs and plants that surrounds the house Since Podaca is situated near the highway you can also take the asphalted road upto the Old Town. At the beginning you will find the remains of a stone tower, oval in shape served as a defence from the Turks. In the center of the town is the church of St John the Baptist built around the 12th century and when this got too small they built a baroque church by the name of St. Steven the First Martyr which is surrounded by ancient tombstones. Podaca is known for it´s crystal clear waters . There are two large peeble beaches with pine trees for shade and a few small beaches. Where you can rent a deck chair, beach umbrella or boat. Beside the apartment is an eco-garden which vegetables and herbs that can picked and used for cooling and eating. There is a grass area for children to play and a trampoline for everybody to enjoy.While they are playing the adults can sit on the terrace and relax while watching the kids or the ocean view of the sea and islands - Hvar and Peljesac. There is garge parking and private parking all under lock. So while you are on holidays you can completly rest and enjoy yourselves.
